DB Computer Solutions has announced the addition of powerful Barcode functionalities to its agile 24/7 Remote Rep field sales application.
With the addition of Barcode, users of Remote Rep from DB Computer Solutions access the efficiency of barcode technologies to further speed orders from sales reps (and their customers) when in the field.

The new Barcode functionality is fully integrated into the Remote Rep application installed on users’ Android smart phones. A scanner is connected to the phone (and the Remote Rep application) via Bluetooth.

To use the new Barcode functionality, field sales team personnel simply scan a product’s unique barcode. The Remote Rep application with its Barcode functionality reads the barcode to instantly pull up the appropriate product file including name, pricing, historic stock orders, promotional programmes, and additional vital data.

Field sales reps key in re-order quantities. When completed, the order is sent via Internet connectivity to their business’s Sage 50, Sage 50c, Sage 200, or Sage 200c accounting solutions for speedy order processing, invoicing and despatch.
