December blog!

Welcome to the all-new DB blog! It’s December, and we are crazy busy!

Aside from last-minute hardware orders, and IT support clients who need immediate response, we are focusing on helping companies and businesses who are looking to benefit from integrating with Sage 50.

Already the diary for January is filling up with meetings to discuss with clients how we can help. In a nutshell, there are many kinds of clients for Sage integration. From retail and EPOS solutions, to e-commerce clients looking to suck web orders directly into their Sage accounts package, we have a range of solutions that can help to streamline processes and facilitate efficiency.

Sage CRM and the DB Service module are strong offerings for companies wishing to replace duplicate docket books for service engineers and field sales representatives. Whether via a tablet or other such mobile device, sales people can pull up previous sales order history, sales quotations and existing stock levels, when with the client. Service Engineers can get jobs signed off onsite, parts ordered onsite, and speed up the billing process whilst visiting their clients. And how this information can be gathered and processed can be customized according to the client requirements.

Keep an eye out for our forthcoming newsletters and A4 product factsheets on Sage 50 Integrated solutions, and how these can potentially benefit your business!

Meanwhile, Sage UK yesterday showed their partners the new Sage 200 2015, to be released in February next year. This was a very exciting presentation! Sage 2015 is the biggest re-write of the software since the old MMS days. The screens are graphically better and altogether much easier to follow. The new dynamic reporting tools were a great addition. The speed of the new Sage 200 2015 and log on time were much improved. Overall, the software has started now to look like Sage 50 but with the extra muscle of Sage 200.  And Fixed assets has arrived finally!

With the new release, Sage 200 2015 will be a fully integrated Sage CRM 7.3.  This also has received a huge facelift and some lovely fast quote features and tighter interface. Probably the most welcome fixed addition is the inclusion of Mail Chimp for e-mail marketing.

We look forward to upgrading our existing Sage 200 clients to Sage 200 2015 in the new year.

In the meantime, should you have any questions feel free to contact us on 061 48098 or e-mail us at info@dbcomp.ie
